Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
Kinda hate it when movies like this (read also: Interstellar) sole purpose is to remind us how love transcends through space and time and everything and everywhere. Makes you feel overwhelmingly lonely, but also at peace. 🥹✌🏼
That "sucked into a bagel" scene aka embracing how LITERALLY nothing matters kinda hit me too hard too, I can'ttt

Ad Astra 2019
Love how it’s nothing too heavy and mind-boggling like how most space movies storytelling would generally go for. It’s grounded, it’s how human connections and emotions, in a way, transcend time and space. It’s humanity in outerspace.
Anger, loss, hopelessness, and love: some of humane things to feel that I’ve picked up and could relate with. Ad Astra was basically buckling up to space to learn about feelings and feelings, indeed, I felt.
Super stunning on the visuals too and amazing cameraworks were being put in. If you didn’t like the storyline, I’m sure you could at least appreciate the cinematog.

Unlike Burn the Stage, this has less voiceovers. Which I prefer. While Burn the Stage was poetic, this was intimate and warm, and almost philosophical—with what Joon shared, mostly.
And the part when Yoongi played his beats, and Jungkook were rambling about art. Love that. Nicely edited. It makes me think…
