Personally I love Biopic’s, one of my favorite types of cinema. I loved this show, it exposed so many sides to fame, exploitation of the early internet, and most of all the deep embedding of the patriarchy in the entertainment industry. Cinematography was spectacular and had such a specific color scheme that developed a retro style that stayed throughout the entire show. This is one of those films where you feel like you watched nothing for 1 hour and 56 minutes. Even 4 minutes after finishing writing this review it’s hard to recall anything that stood out or made the film entertaining.
