as a lana stan — i’m not understanding? the aesthetic and monologue nearing the end saved the movie but i’m left confused on what this implies on gender roles and femininity? overall message is not clear at least to me 😅
i think she also proves a sense of narcissism in the end, as she NEEDS someone to love her, and it is never enough. just as she implies what men who don’t have love are like/do.
