  I'm not some snarky atheist who dismisses every single biblical work of media just because it's religious and I actually appreciate Abrahamic stories and Christian mythology a lot and I think it's very rich, actually. BUT

  This was definitely not the most disturbing or violent movie I've watched. But it was still extremely difficult with the mood I was watching it in and I had to take several breaks.

  A lot of Western audiences found the depiction ot the Saeed Hanaei weird and exploitative but it's completely understandable from an Iranian perspective. This is what radical Islam looks like. Not always dudes yelling at cameras in caves, but regular, everyday family men you will interact with…
