Good movie, the new york setting is interesting and the new main cast is likeable, but I hate how since Scream 5 that have went more overboard with scenes where Ghostface was either outbumbered or knocked out to the point that the victims easily could just unmask, kill or arrest him
Part of the charm of the originals GF was that he felt like a regular human behind a costume who used the surprise factor or carefully planed his strikes…

Good family movie, I felt a lot of the jokes landed because they were part of the culture zeitgeist back then when I waa a kid but I dont know if younger children will understand them. Besides that is still a good enough love story.
The CGI is pretty dated but there isnt much to do with that since is an almost 20 years old movie
