  The plot is the only redeeming feature of the film. Although a strong plot does not necessarily imply a good screenplay.
  Well, If you consider acting, it would have been far more appropriate to title the film "Anthakshary," because most of the actors are competing to finish their lines in a single breath. Also, Aravind Karunakaran's relationship with his bullet is still slightly better than the film's actual romance. Perhaps it's the personal bond DQ formed after working on so many films together.

  The Trial is one of those movies that takes the audience through the protagonist's mind. We are equally as confused as Josef K, because even though the film moves forward, nothing is ever revealed. It just shows us what we already know, but much deeper, and we are as helpless as he is, because we don't even know what is going on.
