  Watched this last Halloween which feels like yesterday bc I always used to see it at video ezy as a kid and thought “that looks cool asf”. This movie was absolutely deranged idk what to say about it except I found it very fun to watch with friends.   We watched this last in a Halloween marathon so I fell asleep after the opening scene and woke up to nu metal playing. From what I saw it looked pretty wild and jay thought it was hilarious but reviews seem to imply I was right to be sleepy

  Why do people act like rape jokes are edgy and artsy when they happen constantly and only serve to empower rapists ? 

  You know what would actually be original and subversive?
  - films about rape that actually delve into trauma and aren’t exploitative 
  - films about women having sex in a liberating way and/or doing sex work that are ADULTS not child sexual abuse victims, they’ve really empowered the “sex work is just sex trafficking” people with this one
