Like Jim Carrey embodied the Grinch, Bill Skarsgård embodies Count Orlok in a way where no part of him is recognizable. A great actor is like a chameleon…they can blend into their environment to such a degree, where the viewer can’t spot the actor within the character. Sometimes, incredible makeup artists can cover up mediocre acting performances, but no performance in this film was less than outstanding!
Robert Eggers is such an amazing filmmaker, and his adaptation of ‘Nosferatu’ is such an amazing film! The Skarsgård Brothers are awesome, and Eggers casts them brilliantly!
