It was a made for TV movie based on the book written by Robert Curran about the experiences of the Smurl family, who from '74 until '89 experienced various paranormal encounters in their home. The case is pretty interesting, and even involved famous paranormal researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren. For being a made for TV movie, it was good, but wouldn't mind seeing an updated version. With the popularity of the Paranormal Activity films and ones like Insidious, I think it's time someone tackled this case for the big screen.
