The Unbearable Lightness of Being 1988
I’d have higher regards for this movie if I had no idea the book existed. Absolutely and utterly impossible to put into a film. The movie and book are loosely related as it follows the same story line but theres absolutely no context of why and how everything happens (which is explained in the book).

I know Josh’s character just acts as a stepping stone in Eleonore’s spontaneity but you can’t help but love him. Gawky and besotted but some how still awkwardly charismatic, what a sweetheart.
