New favourite! Been a while since I found a new favourite, and the reasons why this one is one are too numerous for me to name right now. For example, what a fucking cast! Terrific cast! I’m going to have to watch this two more times and then i’ll maybe consider myself worthy enough to write a full review.

First thoughts is that if this movie is accurate then at some point Illinois prison buses used Handel Gothic for text, which is really cool, one of the goat fonts. Second thoughts is that the fight on the bus is incredibly flaccid, like it’s still being shot like a courtroom drama even when the bus is in path of a train; overall the camerawork here isn’t anything crazy. It’s casual, seems almost handheld at points, they never seem that concerned…
