    The TCM gods sometimes give me something I've not seen.

    So Robert Mitchum is a doctor who treats a lovely young lady (Faith Domergue) who tried to commit suicide. He's kind to her, but soon he's in love. The two get serious quick, but she says she has to break it off because her rich daddy is taking her away. Mitchum drinks up some courage and then all hell breaks up.

    This was a delight.

    So three pre-teens in the high plains are running feral. There's not much parental supervision and what little they have is ill. It's an errand for that sick mother that sets the kids on a path involving real danger.
