  In almost every promotional interview that Magizh Thirumeni gave, he promised that it won't be Ajith Kumar the star we will be witnessing, but just the actor Ajith Kumar that merely plays the protagonist of an action thriller. And he keeps up the promise at least for 85% of the film and yet he goes back to Ajith Kumar the star for the final act.
