M3GAN 2022
I love a good thriller, but this film to me was more comedic than thrilling. I gave the film four stars because I could have used more jumpscares. I love the way the film used music to mislead the audience, it made the (very few) jumpscares all the more impactful. The storyline and casting were great and I think the film left the audience with a great lesson. I’d watch again with friends, but it definitely wasn’t as scary as I would have wanted it to be.

Waitress 2007
Waitress took the audience through a journey of a young woman (Jenna) recognizing her strength, coming to terms with her life circumstance, and turning her life around in spite of it. The film was, for me, realistic of what many young women unfortunately experience. There is something so powerful about Jenna’s journey and the support system she has around her. I shed a few tears at the end and I enjoyed the film. Definitely stuck it through till the end because it is a worthwhile watch!

This was so funny and cute! A great light hearted watch. It had all the makings of a good romcom. Sexy cast, great humor, a dramatic proclamation of love followed by an apology. The horses were so cute and I enjoyed the film. I took off a star because some of the characters kinda lacked any kind of personality outside of just moving the story along, other than that, a fire film.
