It was such a beautiful story about love and grief and it didn’t need that twist at the end. Adam’s journey of healing from his parents’ death and finding love was already enough on its own. The whole "they were dead the whole time" twist just felt like a twist for the sake of having one. It didn’t fit the atmosphere of the movie at all. Can people heal and find happiness without being dead? Please?
