Oppenheimer 2023
Nolan has gotten us so used to louder films, but the most impactful scenes in this one were silent. Also who knew that between this and Barbie that the thinspo would actually come from Oppenheimer?

Never Let Me Go 2010
I haven’t read the book but even so you can tell the movie was missing some of the emotional depth and backstory that the book likely had.
That being said, this is one of my favorite movies starring Andrew Garfield and it holds a special place in my heart. The lighting and colors give a cozy rainy day feel, and AG’s portrayal of Tommy makes you feel like he was an old friend of yours.
