Ersatz Bridesmaids, but with piss

This movie has it all: a feel good family movie with lots of swearing. And a car chase. And evil government. And I wasn’t paying attention when they revealed the backstory. 

Did they have to pay David Harbour the full rate or did they sneak in one of those nonspeaking SAG roles?

This movie is, uh, way hornier than the book. 

I thought it was a very good adaptation but having just finished the book via Dracula Daily I was struck by how quickly everything moved. I know, it can’t take seven actual months, but the breathing room was really nice.

It’s unabashedly silly, but also at a certain point I’m kind of sick of Ryan Reynolds doing his Ryan Reynolds thing. 

The plot is nonsensical but in the end that’s kind of the point. Nothing matters!
