A brutal depiction of the struggle of a meatpacking union's strike for fairer wages and how disorganization, greed, and a lack of unity can make even the noblest intentions fall apart.
A really well made documentary that expertly uses footage of being "in the room" for many important conversations to allow the viewer to draw their own conclusions as to why the strike failed. This is a great watch for anyone who wants to learn more about what a labor negotiation looks like and the pressures of making a deal on behalf of hundreds of livelihoods.
