  I like to watch silent movies given how some were the first, or amongst them, at doing something. I completed this film because of its use of large crowds and practical effects.

  Its story failed to get to me. However I know the movie is good, it just isn't for me.

  Not my style of silent movie. Everything felt hurried and underwhelming. Especially the moments as Mr. Hyde. I appreciate it for what it is, a product of its time, but nothing more.

  If garbage was a movie, this would be it.

  Pathetically edited, barely any coherence in the story.

  I think the movie is fantastic. The way in which they managed to portray the existential dread of the characters with the times changing was spot on for me. I also found the analysis on loss of one's identity, dignity, and empathy in search of wealth and fame better portrayed than in other movies that talk about the those subjects.
