Films about relationship struggles have gotten way harder to watch for me after getting married, so this wasn't necessarily a fun watch. But I really like Dano's style. So much time in the edit to just watch the actors' eyes, and Wildlife does an excellent job telling its story from Joe's perspective and through his eyes.
Also loved the shots outside the house throughout the film and how they tell the story on their own.

Not quite as much my cup of tea as I expected it to be, although there are some really great moments and I still appreciated it overall.

As mentioned, the story is typical of Dickens. You can bet several characters will be connected in surprising ways, and it's fun to try and figure that out before it's revealed. Nicholas Nickleby does a good job of hiding…
