Actually really brilliant. There's something simple and comforting about watching a genre movie- something so characteristically (in this case) western that you know what to expect and feel fulfilled when it does.
One of the biggest things that did it for me on this one was the setting- the simple, raw, untouched land of rocky Colorado, tree-lined Nebraska, and red Utah. There were enough wooded streams in here to satisfy even the most granola western-hater.
