i was gonna review this and just say “i just had sex” but figured this deserved a longer review -
on one hand, the camera work and image choice in this was absolutely top tier. i don’t think i’ve watched a mainstream horror use unsettling footage this well in a while, multiple times during the movie i just felt gross and yucky and wanted to see a unicorn
on the other hand, we fell prey to familiar tropes, most jumpscares…
