This makes me emotional everytine I watch. Animation is amazing, music and sound design are phenomenal and the story is perfect. The whole movie is a work of art. It's hard to recommend as you need to watch the entirety of NGE for any of it to make sense. But if you're willing to put in the time, the pay off is beyond worth it.

Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone 2007
It's really hard to rate this movies as it's pretty much just the first fourth of the orginal show. But saying that, it's absolutely stunning animation. And the sound design is insane, especially with thr 6th angel. I've seen the other rebuild movies as well so I know how much better these get.

Destroy All Monsters 1968
Campy in all the right ways. Alittle bit too much focus on the aliens and not the monsters. But the whole last fight scene is worth the price of admission.
