This is needed. I can sympathize with the trauma from the Holocaust extending to the grandchildren, even though mine is guilt from the other side. Poignant moments of intimacy through shared experiences. Reminded me of a trip I took at 18 and how it felt to visit these places.

Amazing vocal performance from Zoe Saldana, and fantastic acting from Karla Sofia Gascon!  There’s a lot missing in terms of LGBTQ experience here. It’s as if Emilia just changed her life as without showing much of gender euphoria, or realizing that she still has control over the lives of others. Emilia as a character seems to think very little of others and their perception of her, and more of her own interests, which people just…go along with.
