  Silly, fun film. Sure, things hit the brakes a bit in the last 20–30 minutes, but overall, it’s just goofy enough to avoid crossing into “dumb.” Tommy Lee Jones’ line readings are perfect for the character he’s playing, and how can you not love Cate Blanchett’s performance? I’m a sucker for movies set in Oregon, so I especially enjoyed seeing Clackamas County and bits of Portland throughout the first act or so.

  Exudes charm. Just a charming and supportive film from start to finish. A few scattered moments feel like 'toss-ins' but they ultimately circle back in the process of character background, growth, development as the film continues. Regina Hall carried the film through almost every scene, while Haley Lu Richardson and Shayna McHayle both were great and brought different levels of energy to the film and interactions between this leading trio. Very enjoyable film, overall.

  Wee bit predictable, but still fun. Daisy Ridley was solid and Taz Skylar was great (although it did get close to 'too much' a couple of times).

  Very much not for me. Second go around and both times I've truly wondered what the appeal is of this film.
