Funny, but didn't live up to the hype. From the way people talk about this franchise, I was expecting it to be absolutely groundbreaking. Maybe it's because it came out almost 30 years ago, but a lot of the humor landed flat for me. I wouldn't mind a re-watch, though.

The best James Bond film hands down. Goldfinger is a charismatic and dynamic villain. The action is well-paced and rewarding. You're constantly kept on the edge of your seat waiting for what's going to happen next.

A good film with great moments, but the series hasn't quite found it's footing yet. The racist depictions of black Jamaicans are painful to watch.
The influence of 19th-century scifi authors is really evident in the scenes with Dr. No and the setting of a deserted island. I really liked this. It's a flavor you don't find in more recent spy films.
