The Metamorphosis of Birds 2020
I was in awe for the most part of this film, the imagery, the writing the sometimes quirky analogies made me cry my eyeballs out for a big chunk.
It's a very poetic film in all senses, the emotions of melancholy and nostalgia are ever-present. This bothered me in a way I don't quite understand. For the most part, I think, a lot of Portuguese movies tend to Evoque "saudade" and melancholy when sometimes it's not needed, a bit over-dramatic…Translated from by
