An undeniable spectacle and achievement in film. The Brutalist features an abundance of breathtaking shots intertwined with a score that is just as stunning as it is gut-wrenching. A Different Man 2024
Clever and hilarious in a ”you’ve got to be joking” kind of way. A unique take on age-old themes of idealizing physical beauty and the transcendent power of self-confidence. Interesting camerawork at times, but the writing and performances by Stan and Pearson are the heart of this film. Showcases how far charisma can propel you and how the most suffocating cages are often those we build for ourselves.
