Potentially I'm just severely depressed and haven't felt a human emotion in 2 months and don't even feel like watching movies anymore, so maybe it's not the movie's fault.

I don't think I can express how little I liked this movie: from the rape scenes (which I skipped because are you fucking serious) to Lisbeth's post-rape sexualisation (wouldn't surprise me if the book included some "breasted boobily down the stairs" bits) to the whole male-saviour storyline.
A story by men for men in a very sickening way.
