Sahara 1943
The virgin Fury vs the CHAD Sahara.
In all seriousness though it’s a pretty good film. It has its flaws and it is a propaganda film. The heroes sacrifice themselves in heroic fashion and the tragedies of war aren’t really shown. Also the Germans are all pretty cartoonishly evil, but it’s to be expected from a film from 1943. The real Afrika Korps under Rommel fought a pretty clean war in the desert with the Brits and were well respected…

Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal 1999
Fantastic animation with a very well done love story that is subtle in all the right ways. The violence is a stark contrast to the actual series, and I feel it’s necessary here to obtain an understanding of Kenshin’s character. Great watch.

Predators 2010
Continuing in my Predator Movie watch, I came to this film, Predators. It stars Adrian Brody and friends as a mercenaries and soldiers dropped on a predator hunting preserve.
I’ll start off with the positives- the Predator costumes look great. The effects for their suits do as well. Some real work went into those. Now on to the many negatives.
