Anora was the only one with common sense in the film. Jokes aside, this is one of the best movies I’ve watched in this whole decade, I still want the substance to win at the Oscar’s, but I wouldn’t be mad if this one wins. The cinematography, the acting, the story telling, and oh god that ending, I’ve never laughed so much watching a movie while at the same time the ending left me with a complete void in my stomach. This is what movies are for

No One Gets Out Alive 2021
Someone recommended me this on Roblox, it was boring as hell until the last 10 minutes… which is bad because everything good, creative or entertaining only happened at that point. I loved the monster design and the situation the protagonist ends up in is genuinely terrifying, but a good ending can’t save your movie if the first hour is bland and boring

I liked it a lot. The cinematography and the use of shadows and darkness really helps emphasize the despair that characterizes the whole film and its atmosphere, it felt slow at some parts but the way it manages to pull your attention right back on with the amazing performances is great. Also, hands down some of the best make up I’ve seen on an actor in a horror film, skarsgard was barely even recognizable. Great way to start the year
