  Gladiator II is visually stunning and I loved being back in this world that marked cinema. But the story didn’t work for me, too scattered, with too many useless character relationships. The film lacks the anger and revenge that made the first one so powerful. Denzel Washington is incredible, but he’s the only standout. Overall, it felt exaggerated and unrealistic… kind of like my gym goals.

  Woman of the Hour has an intriguing premise but never fully capitalizes on it. Anna Kendrick’s direction is competent but the tension feels uneven and the film lacks the punch it needs to be truly gripping. It’s decent, but ultimately forgettable.
