  For some reason remembered this film as a sophisticated work by Spielberg, it is an unhinged messy Film Noir, with a lot of dubious moments and some ugly bleaching film effects.

  Still you can't take your eyes off it, and it leads to a satisfying conclusion. Great to see Max Von Sydow as a villain.

  A wonderful debut that is pretty insane. The famous, being chased by an evil lorry routine.

  Watch out for the Snakeorama lady scene!

  I must say with great shame, that I have never watched a Bollywood film before! But what an education 'Lingaa' was! In Tamil with English subtitles.   Perhaps one of the most incredible pieces of cinema ever committed to celluloid. With a bold, highly original, Brechtian script, Henri Charr brings together themes of Political apathy, crime, poverty and the family unit under an almost messianic parable that makes The New Testament read like Heat magazine. It is a truly life-changing and life-affirming film, where an every-girl Kelly Sullivan uses the positive universal energy within us all to conjure an extraterrestrial spirit guide.
