A couple of days ago I watched Don't Look Up. Here's my two cents on it.
Note, if you are planning to watch the film and don't want to know any details of its plot and ending, it might be better to wait to read these comments until afterwards.
The film has several layers. The first and most obvious is a sharp criticism of the Trump administration, the media establishment and the capitalists regarding their response to climate change.

Cosmopolis 2012
It's a verbose, hermetical and sometimes seemingly vapid run but I like that Cronenberg stuck so close to the book and its social metaphysics. Most of the action is set in a limo, but he somewhow makes it compelling with stellar camera works. Pattinson's delivery is passionnate and credible. The book certainly didnt predict the 2008 crash, but both materials offer a poignant probe of the minds of the 1%.

The Beatles: Get Back 2021
SO good. There's no off voice, just the ai-enhanced audio from the 60+ hours footage the Beatles recorded leading up to their last show and eventual break-up. The picture is all archive from this period and others. Really interesting to see the relationship between the 4 at this point, also they're all visibly exhausted since this was shot in early 1969, mere months after they finished wrapping up the White Album. Must see, even for non-Beatles fans!
