Oz's a Tony wannabe
Indeed a pearl in the land of the cinecomic universe, well shot and directed, great work by the actors. Needless to say, you can't look at The Penguin without seeing a carbon copy of the Sopranos, from Oz's resemblance to Tony to his troubled relation with family. A 9/10 if you haven't watched Chase's masterpiece, but pales in comparison to the original work. Nonetheless Hbo delivered another solid series that feels like a breeze from the stench of Marvel's recent years

Interesting premise but... weak ass writing, the whole second half looks like strainer, full of holes.
1) the whole character background story is teased like there's gonna be some relevant plot twist later (an evil tendency of the protagonist, a twin switch or a fairy background as she likes to impersonate others and such) but ends up being a waste of screentime.
2) who in their right mind would think "there should be someone in the middle of the woods"…

Technically speaking the movie is a masterpiece (except for few scenes like the cringey sex scene used to drop the death quote and the terrible face-melting of one of the member of oppie's audience, seriously it seems they've used the plastic cover from my microowaved lasagna), but overall leaves a mild artificial taste after the views.
