    Robert Patterson gets to flex his range of acting, I really like the way his character was used, and overall, the movie was a fun ride.

    As much as I like it, I have a few problems.
    The narration wasn't awful, but I think it would've been better without it. This movie would've worked better if it just let the visuals tell the story.

    My friend did not give me any context for this movie, and my god, the intro bored the fuck out of me.

    Too many proper nouns, I had no idea what was going on.

    But the second half was cool.

    The whole time, I thought, "This feels like it would work so much better as a series."
    Learning that it was the first 3 episodes of a new Gundam series which is an alternate reality of a different series made everything make sense.

    As much as the intro bored me though, it was a good time.
