  Batman 1989

  Great start for the Batman films. Tim Burton only knew the names and concepts of the characters and did his own creative spin on it. The casting is perfect with Jack Nicholson stealing the show as the Joker. Now, this movie isn’t the masterpiece of the Nolan Trilogy but isn’t horrible like Snyder’s Batman so I think it’s a solid 3 but gets an extra star for being the model of what every Batman movie should be and for getting Batman on to the big screen.

  Stalin once said “the death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic.”. This, however, is not true and this show is the reason why. You follow each of these men as they go through hell and lose friends along the way. You can get attached to one soldier and see him go from basic training to a high ranking officer. I never thought I would shed a tear while watching this show but i in fact shed many. I love this show and is a prime example of the horrors of war and how humans work under pressure.
