one thing i find so beautiful about ‘Wham!’ is that they both knew it wasn’t supposed to last. if it had lasted for 5+ more years, it would have made so much less of an impact. the band reflects that same adolescent exuberance that i see in my own life, something i hope to embody. that feeling would have been completely gone if they were still singing songs like “Young Guns” and “Wham Rap” in their 30’s. it reminds me…
