Yevade Subramanyam 2015
Mostly overexposed, weird looking photography, patchy edit, abrupt cutting of scenes, few amateur dialogues, despite all of these.. Yevade Subramanyam makes you think abt life, soul and the world around you.. that for me is the beauty of a debut film, the beauty of innocent filmmaking. Nagi talks about all of his issues with the world in such a simple story. Environmental issues, materialism, soul searching, capitalism and many more. Subbu loosing his spectacles during the journey says so much…

Style over substance.
Another film where the whole film was written around the reveal. Badly written with too much exposition. I don’t remember a single scene by the end of the film.
The only positive aspect was Sam c’s terrific music.A disastrous mix of vamsi’s anveshana and Prashant varma’s Kalki. 🙏🏻
