There's so many things that I could go on about when it comes to this film's wonder. But one of the things that stood out to me the most is how good the color choices were. The contrast between the vibrant, bright reds/yellows/blues and the ashen, lifeless, and dull castle architecture is unbelievably stunning. It adds so much to this perfect experience. It's definitely not terrible, but it is by far one of the most boring movies I've experienced recently. The CGI was certainly cool for it's time, and there are some concepts in this film that I find intriguing, but the plot is dull and incredibly uninteresting. It's fine.

Unfortunately, this film was spoiled to me in my early childhood. It's still great nonetheless, especially with Day-Lewis' acting and some superb support from people like Tommy Lee Jones. While the film isn't void of some minor historical inaccuracies, the portrayal of Lincoln is pretty well done- and he is the main focus of the film.

A haunting and deeply human portrayal of the Holocaust, seen through the eyes of those who endured its horror. Imagine how it would be to live as a Jew or any other minority at this time, and imagine being lucky enough to be saved by the work of Oskar Schindler. Every frame of this film radiates heavily with fear and loss, as families are torn apart and lives are reduced to numbers on a list. It's a brutal reminder of humanity’s capacity for evil- but also the polar opposite with the display of Schindler.
