Challengers ahh movie
Pros:
- Robert Patterson’s acting was absolutely on point. First movie for me where I could notice how critical the acting was to move the plot forward. Absolutely impressive
- the editing was well done, wasn’t distracted by ditching the two Mickey’s
Cons:
- Mark Ruffalo’s character was mid to bad. I mean obv he’s trying to be like trump but don’t be blatant about it
- Plot imo was pretty thin, lots of areas that could…
IM BATMAN
I had actually seen this movie before, but seeing it again with a more critical perspective made me appreciate the movie so much more. For what the movie sets up, and achieves within 2.5 hours is very impressive (esp how it sets up a character and a trilogy).
I dock it -0.5 for the cinematography, I think The Batman movie is peak Batman cinematography. But I think the fighting scenes give it back the 0.5.

Lots of memorable quotes like… or also like… esp “come and get me” made me cry.
iPhone propaganda. Hummer EV propaganda. And esp American propaganda. I was gonna give a 2 but the ending fight was incredibly underwhelming.
