Second time around, the story seemed even more obvious and un-amazing. Also, didn’t find it as funny as my first viewing.
The more the vibe ventured towards horror and the grotesque the more I enjoyed it, so the first hour retains a sense of genuine awe (aesthetics, editing and music selection remain top notch throughout, mind you) but sadly the last act felt oddly anticlimactic to me.
Loved the last shot in the garden though. So much Kubrick in there.Translated from by
