The Godfather 1972
I was tired of hearing "but it's not better than the godfather" so I gave it a shot. I can confidently say ever movie I've ever seen is more entertaining that The Godfather. No connection to the characters, it's a 3 hour mumble fest of how mad they are at each other and rivals. The overall story is intriguing but it doesn't (or didn't) translate well to the screen. The Book should get the hype not the movie.
