With so much going on here I think the only time I felt something was when the dog died, which says a lot about this films ability to effectively make me care about it’s characters and draw tension between them.

Companion 2025
This actually had a chance to be something despite a rather plain premise. It could have a been a slasher comedy or a swing at a look on destructive and controlling through an AI lens. Ultimately it never committed to either and threw us some thinly vailed and unearned attempts at introspective moments and one liners that just fell flat. Sophie Thatcher was great and saved this from a half star.
