Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 2024
I was bored with this series, I feared that the next movie would in the vein of sharknado, but this movie, while boring due to its spacing issues, was very well conceived. The story was oddly engaging, but ultimately too long and just filled with fluff that proves nothing or doesn't pay off.
If the movie was trimmed down and more concise, it would have been more enjoyable, but underneath it all, it was a great story.

Hundreds of Beavers 2022
OHHH Damn this movie was funny. Let the ego go, give this movie a chance. Give the movie the benefit of the doubt and give it a watch, the only thing that is stopping you from seeing is you.. and its limited release.
I roared watching this movie, while other members of the family left the room, screaming it was absurd. I'm a child of the 80's, I love the absurd and this was a gem.

Cloud Atlas 2012
This movie is a slowburn. I watched the movie and then spent two days thinking and rethinking about the story and what each segment meant.
A movie that stays in your head as much as this one does deserves kudos. It kept me enthralled as I watched it, trying to absorb all I could. The pacing was stellar, the acting was phenomenal and if you really give in and accept the movie, the make-up goes unnoticed.
A Brilliant movie that must be seen.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Okay lets just through in ridiculous sideplots, old love affairs and extremely odd sexual tension to hide the blatant holes in the story.
I really don't have much to say about this movie, other than that the bear completely took me out of the movie and ruined it all. Oh and AJ Cook should never be a lead.
