  I don't know how to rate this. artistically, this was a very nice film to watch. it felt very dream like and I saw someone else describe it as flipping through commercials on TV which I totally agree with. with that being said, it felt totally incomprehensible.   "waaaah were the only white people in vicinity we should fall in love!!!!" why do people like this movie I genuinely expected SO much more from this... why did they feel the need to cast a 17 year old and a 52 year old for this (already kind of bad) love story!! that just makes it worse than it already was. the race jokes were cringe and the 2 protagonists never even attempted speaking japanese meanwhile everyone was going out…
