Upon rewatch of Soul, I truly appreciate more of its strengths.
One of said strengths is the direction. From how certain scenes are lit up, to how they're paced, this is definitely one of the best directed Pixar movies. This movie really does an excellent job at capturing just how precious those small moments in life can truly be. Pete Doctor really outdid himself here.
