  jake they could never make me like you.

  Super surprised this didn’t get a best adapted screenplay nomination. Lots of really great symbolism within the cinematography. For example, the first scene in the car where the camera stays on the outside the whole time, emphasizing how trapped Lucy feels in her relationship, and foreshadowing what she’s about to go through in Jake’s house. Very good stuff! Definitely didn’t catch everything so I will be back.
