The style reminded me so much of Gopher Goes West, mainly because it was my first time seeing someone play around with black and white like that.

Something about the lack of color makes everything feel like it’s swelling and building and eventually overflowing. The presence of light intensifying the absence of it. The aesthetic and experimental qualities told the story, which is a refreshing experience with such a heavy subject matter
