reminds me of saltburn. not a good thing. at the very least less disastrous than saltburn in that it does actually have something so say. otherwise, tedious and largely boring film. pretty, there’s something good in here somewhere, works far better as a tragedy than a romance, sufjan stevens carried

it was… okay? i was hoping it would be more entertaining but i guess it just isn’t really my sense of humor. the ending scene was cute and i liked how offbeat it was, but it was only okay for me

dry heaved multiple times during this movie. me and my friend were rocking back in forth in horror by the end of it . i fucking hate this movie and yet i’ve never been more glued to the screen in my entire miserable life

every 5 minutes i went “oh hey i’ve been there.” willem dafoe was really really great in this, second only to the kid actors. i’m convinced that a lot of the kid scenes had to have been unscripted because of how natural their performances come off. really good and really sad. it reminds me of a lot of people i knew and came to love when i was working near orlando. color grading in this is great
